Cuyahoga & Lake County, Ohio

Price the clearing on your job in about 30 seconds.

BrushBoss is the land clearing sub. You keep the customer. We clear it so you can dig.

Drop the address, outline the area, pick the density. No site visit, no waiting on a callback.

How the price works

  1. Drop the address

Type it in. The parcel comes up on the map.

  2. Outline what gets cleared

Trace the actual limits — not the whole lot, just the part you need open.

  3. Get the range

Set how thick it is and the number comes back on screen. Built from that parcel, not a per-acre guess.

Who we sub for

  • Excavation and site work

Ground opened and gradeable before your machines roll in.

  • Landscapers

Overgrown acreage nobody can get a mower into.

  • Builders and developers

Lots, pads, and access roads cleared to your stakes.

  • Tree services

You take the timber. We grind the understory and the slash.

  • Land brokers

Trails and sightlines cut so a buyer can actually walk the parcel.

Why you sub this out

A forestry mulcher is separate capital from the excavator you already own. Here is what it takes to put one on a job.

  • $170,000Mulching head
  • $190,000Forestry-spec Cat 275
  • $100,000Truck and trailer to move it
  • ~$460,000All in, before the first hour of work

Nobody justifies that for the clearing they hit a few times a year. You sub it, mark it up, and keep your iron on the work it was bought for.

Trees and brush to roughly 8 inches get ground in one pass. The mulch stays on site — no burning, no hauling, no disposal line on your invoice.

Questions we get

What does it cost?

Most work lands between $2,000 and $2,800 per acre, depending on how thick it is and how hard the site is to get into. There is no minimum acreage and no minimum dollar amount. Outline the area on the price tool and you get a range built from that parcel instead of a round number off a rate sheet.

Are you insured, and can I get a COI and a W-9?

Yes. We carry general liability, and we will send a certificate of insurance naming your company along with a W-9 before we mobilize. Ask Kyle and it goes out the same day.

Who owns the customer?

You do. We show up as your clearing sub, work to your stakes, and invoice you. We do not solicit your customer during the job or after it.

What happens to the brush and trees?

It gets mulched in place and stays on site as a chip layer. No burn pile, no roll-offs, no hauling, and no disposal line on your invoice. The chips hold soil on a slope and break down over a season or two.

How much room do you need to get in?

If you can get a skid steer to it, we can get to it. We need a spot to drop the trailer and a path in. Tight infill lots and back parcels are normal work. Tell Kyle about the access when you call and he will tell you straight if it is a problem.

How soon can you be on it?

Usually inside a week or two, sooner when something moves on the schedule. If the job starts later, get the number now and lock the date once you win the bid.

Get your number

Thirty seconds on the price tool, or one call to Kyle. Either way you get a real number for that parcel.
